Experience in Real Estate & Residential Appraisal

My real estate career began in banking, where I served in several roles before specializing in residential mortgage lending for more than 20 years. That experience provided me with an extensive background in real estate financing, property valuation, and the residential lending process.

In 2019, I pursued a long-standing goal of becoming self-employed and transitioned into the real estate profession full-time. After completing the required appraisal education and training, I had the opportunity to work under the mentorship of Tom Winter, whose decades of appraisal and real estate experience have been invaluable to my professional development.

Today, I am a Certified Residential Appraiser licensed in both Minnesota and South Dakota. I have completed hundreds of residential appraisal assignments involving a wide variety of properties, including single-family homes, rural acreages, unique properties, and 1–4 unit residential properties.

I am also a licensed real estate salesperson with Winter Realty, Inc. My involvement in both residential appraisal and real estate sales provides additional exposure to current market activity, buyer and seller trends, comparable sales, and changing property values throughout Southwest Minnesota and the surrounding area.

In 2022, I established Woodbury Appraisal, LLC with the goal of providing clients with professional, reliable, and locally informed residential real estate appraisal services.

Woodbury Appraisal provides appraisal services for a variety of residential properties, including:

• Single-family homes
• Residential properties containing 1–4 units
• Rural homes and residential acreages
• Acreage properties generally containing 20 acres or fewer
• Unique and complex residential properties
• Properties across a wide range of values

Assignments are accepted subject to applicable Minnesota and South Dakota licensing requirements and regulations.

Residential Appraisal Service Area

Based in Pipestone, Minnesota, Woodbury Appraisal proudly provides residential and acreage appraisal services throughout Southwest Minnesota and Southeast South Dakota, generally within approximately a 60-mile radius of Pipestone, MN. This service area includes Pipestone and many surrounding communities and rural areas throughout Southwest Minnesota and nearby South Dakota. Some of the communities I frequent most include Edgerton, Lake Benton, Luverne, Slayton, Marshall, Tyler and Worthington.
